These are just a couple of unfinished minis I've done. I do minis to test colors, new techniques, etc.

Below is an example of my color test for red/green/navy,

and lavender/pale pink/ green...and a new technique I was unfamiliar with

at the time: pieced borders. The pattern on the left is of course "Rail Fence"

but the center panel on the right quilt isn't named, it's a variation of only two strips

instead of three in a block.

for all my quilting projects. Once you get the hang of it, it's much easier to cut

accurately and consistently every time.
