a bit of info:

This block pattern is called "Road to Oklahoma" and was machine pieced

by me for my mom as a Christmas present. I collaborated with my granny

to have her do the hand quilting {she cursed me for picking such a huge

many-pieced pattern! LOL} We then added a wide ruffle to the edge, and I

made a pillow from a leftover block to go with it. My granny made a door-

knob doll with the darker material as her dress, and I made a panel for

the back of the quilt that included silk embroidery roses and this saying:

From mother to daughter, and daughter to mother,

made with love, Christmas 1995.

{needless to say she loved it!!}
